Hoewel het 'etc' in het refrein suggereert dat hier niet de gehele refreintekst gegeven wordt, blijkt uit de concordantie dat dit toch wel het geval is. Vertaling van 'Jesu dulcis memoria', dat op de linker pagina wordt gegeven. Het oorspronkelijke lied is toegeschreven aan Bernardus van Clairvaux. Over de wijsaanduiding zie ook het commentaar bij Costerius OHB1590 040. Dit lied heeft een wat langer strofeschema dan het gebruikelijke bij deze wijsaanduiding (waarschijnlijk dienen twee melodieregels herhaald te worden): melodienorm o.g.v. wijsaanduiding.
