'Mira res' (HsBeSPK oct 190 041) volgt direkt op dit lied. Hoewel beide liederen vaker samen voorkomen, wijst de opmaak hier duidelijk op twee afzonderlijke liederen. Ook de wijsaanduiding bij NGheestLb1631 008 wijst in deze richting. De hier als tweede strofe genoteerde tekst is eigenlijk het tweede deel van de eerste strofe, waarboven de melodie herhaald wordt. Toeschrijving aan Thomas à Kempis door Pohl (zie HsWeONB sn12875 049), nrXXXVI, 324. Deze toeschrijving is echter betwistbaar. (Hascher-Burger 2006, Konrumpf 2006)
