Melodie komt grotendeels overeen met Datheen Ps1566a 130. Volgens Lenselink 1959, 288 komt de melodie uit het Frans-Straatburgse psalter (1539). De versie van Utenhove staat tussen deze en de latere van L. Bourgeoys (1542) in. Utenhoves tekst komt uit 1551. Uitleg in de marge. Wijsaanduiding ELDERS in Utenhove 64Ps1561.
