Melodie komt overeen met Datheen Ps1566a 024. Volgens Lenselink 1959, 332 is de melodie die van Bourgeoys bij Marots psalm 24, in de gewijzigde versie van 1549 en is het aannemelijk dat de tekst uit 1554 komt. Uitleg in de marge. Wijsaanduiding ELDERS in Utenhove 64Ps1561.
